About Kempton

Established in 1979, Sunbury Antiques Market is one of the UK and Europe’s largest and best loved antiques fairs, a clear favourite amongst antiques enthusiasts and simply a must for the calendar. Held at Kempton Park Racecourse on the second and last Tuesday of every month and now also with an occasional Sunday fair, Sunbury Antiques Market has been growing in size and popularity since its inception over 40 years ago.

With over 700 traders spread throughout two indoor grandstands and outside (hard-standing) pitches, we are proud to be the country’s largest and longest running twice-monthly antiques market.

If you’re looking to immerse yourself in Antique and Vintage riches or somewhere to ignite inspiration for that next design project for your home or client, there is nowhere better to spend a few hours scouring the treasures of Europe’s most knowledgeable traders. Once considered to be one of “London’s Best Kept Secrets”, Sunbury Antiques at Kempton Park is now the place everyone is talking about.

Our traders are constantly combing the length and breadth of the UK and every corner of Europe sourcing a wide selection of antiques, collectables, jewellery, furniture, vintage clothing, ceramics, paintings, silverware and much, much more, appealing not only to those in the antiques trade but general collectors, prop buyers, interior and exterior designers and many other private clients.

As always, Sunbury Antiques are delighted to offer FREE admission after 8:00am and FREE parking to all our visitors.

Sunbury Antiques is my favourite antique market in the UK, and an event that I rarely miss. I find it so inspirational which is imperative to what I do. To be honest, I couldn’t do what I do without Sunbury Antiques.

Kempton Park Racecourse, Staines Road East, Sunbury On Thames, TW16 5AQ

Parking

There is ample free parking at the racecourse.

There are allocated disabled parking spaces near the North Entrance. For electric car users, there are two Polar “fast charge” points in operation in the main car park.

By Car

The Racecourse lies between Hampton Court Palace and Staines on the A308. Alternatively take exit 1 off the M3 motorway and follow the signs for the A316 through Richmond and past Feltham, then turn down the A308. Kempton Park is located outside of both the LEZ & ULEZ zones.

Kempton Park Racecourse boasts its own train station on-site – Kempton Park – which is situated 200 yards from the North entrance. Southwest Trains run two trains every hour from London Waterloo & Clapham Junction with the journey time being just 44 minutes. Alternatively, you can get off at the next stop, which is Sunbury Station and an approximate 10 minute walk.

We are just 25 minutes from London Heathrow and approximately 45 minutes from Gatwick. We allow pre-arranged helicopter landings at Kempton Park, please contact us direct to discuss further.

Stallholder Booking Information

Outside Pitches

We advise outside traders to pre-book in advance where possible. Once you have pre-booked that guarantees you entry and a pitch. All pitches are then allocated on a first come, first served basis on the day.

To book our outside pitches, please email us at enquiries@sunburyantiques.com stating which date you would like to book. Upon receipt of your email, we will ask that payment is made by way of BACS (online bank transfer). Once payment is received and confirmed, we will email you a confirmation of your booking with further instructions. Please note payments must be received by no later than 5pm on the Friday before each event (if not before), dependant on availability. Any payments received after this time may not be guaranteed and maybe charged at the casual rate. If for whatever reason, you are unable to make a BACS payment, please contact us.

We also offer you the option to purchase a ticket for future fairs directly from the Market Office on event days.

Outside Pitch Prices
Pre-booked Van Pitch – £95.00 inc. VAT
Pre-booked Car Pitch – £85.00 inc. VAT

Casual Pitches

We also have the option to turn up on the morning of the event without a ticket for outside only. This is called a ‘casual’ pitch. All casual pitches are allocated on a first come, first served basis so we advise dealers wanting a casual pitch to arrive early.

Casual Pitch Prices
Casual Van Pitch – £105.00 inc. VAT
Casual Car Pitch – £95.00 inc. VAT

Please note as of 2024 our Casual Pitch prices will increase by £5.00

ARRIVAL PROCEDURES & GUIDELINES

Entry gate for outside traders is through Gate 6 (located along the A308, signed ‘Centre of The Course’ / Market Day Parking) from 2:00am onwards. We discourage traders from arriving before this time but if you do need to, please contact us for further instructions.

We ask that you arrive no later than 6:00am so you are ready for opening at 6:30am.  There is strictly no trading before 6:30am.  You must park ‘nose in’ to your pitch and trade from the back of your vehicle.   You need to supply your own tables and awnings for outside.

Unfortunately, we do not supply power for outside pitches.

Cont’d

During the winter months traders tend to use gazebos etc. to shelter their stock if the weather is unkind, although all the outside trading area is on hard standing.   Any gazebos or awnings can be erected prior to opening at 6.30am.

Please take all your litter home with you including any sold or unwanted items on site. We take this matter very seriously, anyone found ignoring this will incur additional charges.

Inside Stalls

We have two indoor areas, the ground floor of the Paddock Grandstand and ground floor Silver Ring Grandstand. We will supply you with a 6ft by 2.5ft standard trestle table. We can also offer an extra table to go behind your original table if required. Chairs are supplied throughout the hall as well as power (please bring an extension lead). All lights/lamps must be PAT tested.

To book our inside stalls, please email us at enquiries@sunburyantiques.com stating which date you would like to book. Upon receipt of your email, we will ask that payment is made by way of BACS (online bank transfer). Once payment is received and confirmed, we will email you a confirmation of your booking with further instructions. If, for whatever reason, you are unable to make a BACS payment, please contact us.

Inside Stall Prices
