Important Travel Update – Upper Sunbury Road Closure from 7th July
Please be aware that Thames Water will be closing a small section of Upper Sunbury Road (Eastbound) between Percy Road and Hampton Care Home from 7th July for approximately 15 weeks, Monday – Saturday between 7:30am and 5pm.
What This Means:
• East to West (Hampton Court → Kempton Park): This small section will be closed.
• West to East (Kempton Park → Hampton Court): This route will remain open as normal.
Attending Our Event – Alternative Route (if traveling from Hampton Court direction):
A diversion has been put in place by Thames Water, but we recommend following the route we have highlighted with a pink line to avoid delays:
1. Travel along the A308 towards the traffic lights where it meets Upper Sunbury Road.
2. Do not go straight across (as you usually would to reach Kempton Park) – this is where the road is closed.
3. Instead, turn left at the lights.
4. Continue on this road until you reach Harefield Road on your right – turn right here.
5. Follow Harefield Road to the end – it will bring you back onto the A308.
6. Turn left on the A308.
7. Gate 6 to the venue will be on your right, or you may continue to the main entrance.
